Esperanza Lopez
Vessel of Fierce Compassion

Esperanza Lopez, born in Sabadell near Barcelona, has dedicated her life to the service of healing, combining a deep intuitive understanding of people with decades of professional experience in therapeutic and transformational work.
Beginning in the 1980s, she trained extensively in body-based therapies including chiropractic, massage, reflexology, and craniosacral work, later becoming a teacher of these methods. Her path continued with studies in floral and mineral essences, which she also taught at the Yesod center, co-founded with her partner Josep Vila.
Over time, her focus shifted from physical techniques to deeper processes of personal transformation. She trained in Family Constellations and later became a Grof Transpersonal Training certified facilitator of Holotropic Breathwork through the work of Stanislav Grof.
For many years, Esperanza organized and facilitated Holotropic Breathwork workshops at her center in Sabadell, supporting individuals in processes of deep inner exploration.
Her work is profoundly shaped by her long-standing relationship with Amazonian plant traditions. Through many years of training and practice in the Peruvian Amazon, she has developed a particular mastery in working with tobacco—one of the most demanding and powerful teacher plants.
Esperanza is known for her clarity, strength, and uncompromising integrity in this work. While she holds a firm and disciplined approach to plant processes, she meets individuals with deep care, presence, and compassion when support is needed.
Today, she collaborates closely with Josep Vila in facilitating personal growth workshops across Spain and Europe, bringing together structure, depth, and devotion to the path of transformation.
