GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)
for Grof Transpersonal Training® (GTT)

1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all trainings, workshops, modules, and certification programs offered within the framework of Grof Transpersonal Training® (GTT) provided by Grof Transpersonal Training OÜ and organized by authorized local organizers across Europe.
By registering for any training or module, the participant fully accepts these GTC.
2. Structure of Organization
Grof Transpersonal Training OÜ operates internationally through independent organizers in different European countries.

Local organizers are responsible for the logistical execution of specific modules (venue, accommodation, local coordination).

Grof Transpersonal Training OÜ remains responsible for:

the training framework,
-
certification standards,
-
overall program structure.

3. Nature of the Training
Grof Transpersonal Training® is an educational and experiential certification program in Transpersonal Psychology and the Holotropic Breathwork method combining theoretical learning with intensive self-exploratory processes.
Holotropic Breathwork is an experiential method for self-exploration and personal development.
Important Notice:
This training does not constitute psychotherapy, medical treatment, or psychiatric care and does not replace such services.
No healing promises or specific outcomes are guaranteed.
Grof Transpersonal Training OÜ conducts its trainings to the best of its knowledge and belief and in accordance with the highest ethical standards. The organization understands itself as a continuously learning and evolving system, committed to ongoing development in order to provide the best possible set and setting for participants.
4. Personal Responsibility and Health Requirements
Participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk and responsibility.
Participants agree:

to independently assess their physical and mental health suitability,
-
to review all contraindications prior to participation,
-
to consult a qualified medical or mental health professional if necessary.
Contraindications must be independently reviewed by the participant.
Medical information collected during registration:
-
is used solely for safety and assessment purposes,
-
is deleted after each module,
-
is collected anew for every module.
4a. Minimum Age Requirement
Participation in Grof Transpersonal Training® is only available to adults aged 18 years or older.
Minors (under 18) are not permitted to register or attend any modules, workshops, or trainings. By registering, participants confirm that they meet this age requirement.
5. Contract Formation and Certification Registration
A binding contract is established:

upon registration for a training/module, and
-
upon entry into the certification registry.
A non-refundable certification registration fee of 60 EUR is due upon entry into the certification registry.
6. Prices and Payment Terms
-
Training modules have fixed prices defined by the organizer.
-
Accommodation costs are separate and vary by location.
-
A non-refundable deposit of 200–300 EUR per module is required.
If payment deadlines are not met:
-
early bird pricing is forfeited,
-
the full standard fee becomes payable.
Non-payment may result in exclusion from participation.
7. Withdrawal Policy (Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal)
The statutory right of withdrawal is excluded due to:
-
fixed event dates,
-
limited participant capacity,
-
and associated accommodation arrangements.
By registering, participants explicitly agree to this exclusion.
8. Cancellation and Non-Attendance
In case of non-attendance:
-
deposits remain non-refundable.
-
If full payment was made:
-
the remaining amount (excluding deposit) may be transferred to another European GTT module within 2 years.
-
No refunds are granted.
9. Cancellation by Organizer
If a module is cancelled:
-
training fees are refunded in full,
-
no reimbursement is provided for travel or accommodation costs.
10. Participant Conduct and Exclusion
Participants may be excluded without refund if they:
-
are unable, after repeated modules, to understand and apply the Holotropic Paradigm (including recognizing projections as part of their own process),
-
endanger themselves or others,
-
consume drugs or substances during training,
-
fail to respect set and setting,
-
are unable to contain their own process responsibly.
11. Self-Experience and Certification
The training includes substantial self-experience.
Certification is not guaranteed.
The certification team evaluates participants based on:
-
understanding of the Holotropic Paradigm,
-
integration of personal process,
-
ability to remain fully present,
-
ability to work supportively in a team,
-
well-integrated practical and theoretical experience in facilitating in non-ordinary states of consciousness,
-
completion of all training requirements.
The certification team may impose additional conditions or deny certification if the required competencies are not sufficiently demonstrated.
12. Liability
Liability is limited to:
-
intent,
-
gross negligence,
-
injury to life, body, or health.
No liability is assumed for personal processes or outcomes.
13. Legal Responsibility of Participants
Participants are responsible for:
-
compliance with laws in their country,
-
permissions required to offer workshops.
The training may be recognized differently across jurisdictions.
14. Intellectual Property Rights
All materials and methods shared within Grof Transpersonal Training® are protected.
The bodywork technique “Focused Energy Release”:
-
may not be taught or shared without written permission.
15. Photo and Media Policy
-
Recordings require consent of participants and teachers.
-
The organization may take photos/videos during the training events
-
shared within the group,
-
published only with consent.
-
16. Data Protection
Data is processed in accordance with GDPR

Medical data is deleted after each module.
-

17. Insurance
Participants are responsible for adequate insurance coverage.
18. Force Majeure
No liability for disruptions due to events beyond control.
19. Language and Jurisdiction

Contract language: English

Governing law: Estonia

20. Severability Clause
Invalid provisions do not affect the remainder.
