Frances Vila

Frances Vila López, born in Sabadell near Barcelona, began his professional journey with a strong interest in motor racing, leading him into a successful career within multinational corporations. Despite this outward success, he felt a growing call toward a deeper and more meaningful path.

This turning point led him to the traditions of Amazonian plant medicine, where he underwent a profound personal transformation. A pivotal moment in this journey was a solitary retreat, encouraged by his father, during which he worked intensively with master plants and discovered a deep commitment to the path of healing and self-exploration.

Further inspired by attending the International Congress of Sintergética in Cancún and the teachings of Jorge Carvajal Posada, Frankie expanded his training into hands-on healing modalities, integrating manual therapies with energetic and holistic approaches.

His path has taken him repeatedly to the Amazon regions of Peru and Brazil, where he has continued to deepen his relationship with plant medicine and the spiritual traditions that hold this work.

Today, Frank is actively involved in facilitating workshops alongside Josep Vila, growing steadily into this work with sincerity, dedication, and respect for the traditions he represents.

Known for his warmth, humor, and grounded presence, he brings a unique balance of lightness and seriousness to his work. His journey reflects an ongoing process of learning, devotion, and embodiment of a path that continues to unfold. Within Grof Transpersonal Training he is co-responsible for the Holotropic Breathwork meets Master Plants module.
