Jean Farell
The Weaver of Wisdom

Jean Farrell is one of the most experienced and respected teachers of Holotropic Breathwork in Europe.
Born in England and living in Ireland for more than thirty years, she has dedicated her life to accompanying people on paths of healing, self-discovery, and inner transformation.
Before focusing fully on transpersonal work, Jean served as a senior lecturer in Youth and Community Work at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she taught counseling skills and group work.
After moving to Ireland, she worked as a psychotherapist and supervisor, supporting therapists working with trauma across a variety of agencies. She also taught counseling and therapeutic skills at the National University of Ireland.
Jean has been facilitating Holotropic Breathwork since her Grof Transpersonal Training certification in 1996 and has guided workshops and trainings throughout Europe. For many years she hosted monthly residential workshops in a small center at her home in Ireland, offering a deeply personal and experiential environment for inner exploration.
Her teaching style reflects the depth of her experience: rather than relying on presentations or theoretical frameworks, Jean guides participants through questions, reflections, and carefully crafted experiential processes.
Her modules, including The Art of Living and Dying, Who Am I?, and Moving Toward Wholeness, invite participants into direct encounters with the essential questions of life.
Now in her eighties, Jean continues to facilitate with remarkable dedication and presence. Within the community she is affectionately known as “Master Yoda,” a tribute to her quiet wisdom, subtle humor, and extraordinary capacity to guide people toward their own inner knowing.
